The rise of C-ute
Now that I got over my first post nervousness, on to my first opinion post. In (I'm guessing) 2005, C-ute was formed with Erika, Maimi, Mai, Airi, Saki, Chisato, and Megumi. They were all the kids who didn't get picked up by Berryz Koubou.Soon (for some unknown reason, not that I'm complaining) they added Kanna, the loveable Egg.
But I guessing you already knew that, right? Anyway, they released the 4 indie singles (which in my opinion, are some of their best songs). Some time after this Megumi (who I call Megu) left, which makes me sad because she was actually a good singer. A few months later, they released Sakura Chirari (which I actually hated until a few months ago), their first major single. Then Meguru Koi no Kitetsu ('Kay[Just so you know when I say 'kay, that basically means 'I have nothing to say about it.]) Then Tokkaiko Junjou came out, which when the PV came out took me by surprise but I was used to the cuties pop singles and matching outfits. Some time between that and the next single, I started to make my H!P favorites list.At the very top, the oldest and tallest C-utie, Erika.
She's so awesome. I could go on worshipping her in this post but that's for another time. Anyway, after that Shiawase no Uta came out.Outfits were slightly fugly in my opinion but they were nice also the song wasn't that great. Then, a day after that was released, Namida no Iro was announced, it came out months later. It was awesome. The outfits were awesome, too. And that's all the singles...for now. It's been a long road since 2005, hundreds of wotas destroyed, thousands of albums sold.
But they keep pushing on...and that's the way I like it.
