I'm going to post my rankings here for the year using media I've used this year. So please sit back and enjoy.
Top 3 Groups
- Buono!- Buono's been releasing consistently good music all year, and how can I not like Buono!? They're just so great.
2. Morning Musume- Yes. How could l betray the group that made me become the wota I am today? Well, my least favorite member has left the group, which is good, but there's really only been one song- Nanchatte Renai- and one PV- Shouganai Yume Oibito- that I've really felt were good this year from them. At least we're seeing them show more personality all over.
3. Aa!- My god! The new Aa! has only released one song and they're here. Maybe it's that 2/3 of the group is in Buono!... I REALLY liked Yume no Genjitsu, and the egg in the new group isn't awkward at all- a hard feat when you're up against Miyabi and Airi. I hope to see more from them soon!
Top 5 Songs-
5. Shouganai Yume Oibito- I still haven't really warmed up to this song, but I still think it's a good one. What put it here is the song's bizarre ability to get stuck in my head during the AP test, helping me to remember stuff I was studying while listening to it.
4. My Boy- How is this not the best H!P PV of the year, and a great song? It's such a fun, high-energy song, it has great lyrics, and it's from Buono!. What more could a Midorigirl ask for?
3. Bravo Bravo- It's Buono. It's great. I loved this song when I first heard it, so I have to love it now! This song is just so catchy and fun! Also, more Buono!Back-up band fun. \
2. RIVER- Yes, an AKB48 song is one of my favorites of the year. This song was just so great- it's unique, fun, and it's unlike anything I've heard from any idol group in recent years sound-wise. I may not like AKB48's other stuff because it's generic, but if they release more stuff like this, I might just become a fan. This is one of those songs that can get even non-wotas to buy it. I really hope that H!P will take from this, and release some kick-ass stuff like this.
1. Nanchatte Renai- How could I ever hate this song? It's so great. While the PV wasn't exceptional, the song is mature- something I really like in this new Morning Musume, and it's so fun to listen to. While I'm not a fan of Koha and Sayu's bits, the song is so good overall, that I'm able to completely ignore them and worship the other parts. That's how I know it's a great song.
The Top Performance of the Year
There's only one winner for this- and you know it! How can anyone beat (or match) this singing that still gives me chills even after hearing it probably about 500 times? (No joke)
Worst Costumes of the Year
I don't know what they were thinking with these, but no matter how many times I look at them they're still terrible. If you're going to do a wierd idol-ish parody of Mexican outfits, at least do it right.
These costumes were good until you looked at the lower half. Why does it look like there's some underwear-flashing going on?
I love cows, but this is crossing the line. Cow print became tacky how long ago now?
No, No, and No. These dresses would've been bad enough without the hats sewn onto them. I'm not really a fan of rainbows throwing up onto things, and then sewing stuff straight out of a kid's toy box onto a dress? Ugh...
This costume was bad enough without all of the clown ruffles. Now it looks like she's one of those giant cray-paper flowers that people make. Or a rooster sitting on top of a giant pile of sherbert. Whatever it is, it's bad.
Best Costumes of the Year
This dress is really good on Ai-chan. It fits her age as the second-oldest in H!P, and it makes her look like a mature, beautiful lady, not a young, hyper idol, which fits the song she's singing the best.
This is just a great costume. While it took some time to warm up to it, it looks really good on stage, and it works well for all of the girls in the group.
I love these outfits. They're look great on stage, and in the PV. They also have subtle extras, such as the beading and the zippers on the jackets, that really add to the character of the costumes. The colors also make sense for the style of music that they're singing.
These costumes were my favorite of the year. They looked great on stage, they were sexy, and yet they still kept that idol flair. They look great everyway you look at them.
Favorite Eggs of the Year
Ogawa Saki- She's an amazing singer, a good dancer, and she's really cute! How can I not love her?
Miyamoto Karin- SHE'S TOO CUTE!!!

The four idols featured in Bomb magazine's Christmas♥gravure special are Yua! Yua! Yua!: (*´艸`) Nitellegenic 2009 & 2005 Seikore Grand Prix top idol~♥, Koizumi Maya: Nitellegenic 2009, Togashi Azusa and Koike Yua: Nitellegenic 2009 & Miss Magazine~ ＾ ＾。
And you know whenever you glance at those "anketto" survey post cards which accompany most any publication in Japan no matter what the genre~....It would be really wonderful to be able to fill them out and mail them in as presents are always available~! ＼(^o^)／☆ Most often you'll see personally messaged and autographed Polaroids~♥ as well as signature cards, plushies and a vast variety of other sweet gifts♥ and when it comes to Hello!Project..so many *cute~* presents are given away in their Alo~Hello! series DVDs as well as other shashinshuu releases as you'll see each member purchase a special *present~* at the locale their visiting for their photo shoots~ and towards the end of the DVDs they'll remind you of the (usually first press) post cards which you may mail in for a present of your very own~ ＾ ＾。The main catch here being that what you see either on screen or in the magazine listed under potential "presents" is the exact number available to fans!!! (・o・) Many times it's a single Item like a Polaroid or a small set of three that are available so the odds of being chosen for these most sought after special "presents" is most tiny as you'll be up against every other post card sent in!!!....tiny yes~ but still just the thought of having a chance is pretty~* sweet ne (*´∀｀*)
With a bit of help~ I was able to receive Saitou Yua's♥ 2nd shashinshuu "Kajitsu"'s present~ o(*´∀｀)o゛。。。
Now if only I could get more anketto mailed in ne~ (*´∀｀*)♥
This issue of Bomb magazine~ offers numerous *presents~* from many idols and in their "Bikini X'mas Party!!!" special each idol♥ shows her personal gift which one lucky fan each will receive through visiting Bomb.TV's website...such a tiny chance but so *lucky~* if you're the one chosen~!!! The presents include a signed brush~♥...a signed compact mirror♥ as well as a signed pen case♥♥♥ from Yuachan~♥!! o(*´∀｀)o゛
~~~~~Just below I've split the Bikini X'mas Party!!! clip into two parts as 50MB is the limit per upload to Vox and had I kept it as a single clip it may have become much *fuzzier* in clarity~ mite ne~ ↓↓↓ for Yuachan♥!!!....um okay for the other three most *kawaii~* idols too ne~ (。ーωー。)。。。
January's disc is noted as being Vol.14 so perhaps the trading photo cards and DVD extras take turns I wonder throughout the calendar year~? (・c_・;)？Here with issue you'll find 16 chapters~!...and 100 minutes~! of idol coverage and an indication that perhaps these included DVD extras are released every few months is that Vol.14 also covers many of the idols seen in earlier issues just released prior to this one~.

(・д・`*)！！！。。。eating melon and scaring Manoeri too~ although she does keep saying how *kawaii~* it is (・o・) but there's also Mano♥bucket o(*´∀｀)o゛as well as Mano♥laundry to soothe things over after the bug received so much screen time~!…(^q^)! The annual seikore auditions culminate in a "Grand Prix" winner~ which can often feature several girls and much of the publicity of these events are featured in Shueisha's "Young Jump" magazine which is published weekly~.
Yuachan♥ won Seikore in 2005 with top honors as "Grand Prix!!!" and has since been featured in countless magazines, released two shashinshuu, released 5 solo gravure DVDs~, released a special box set w/trading cards and additional extras~, released a special graduation DVD, released two calendars, is a regular on two radio shows ("Madamada Gochamaze~!" and "Oshaberiyattema~su"), appears on an array of variety t.v. programs, CMs, acts as a quiz show assistant...and all this in addition to making numerous event appearances~♥!
Soon my love of gathering Yuachan♥ collectibles and event memorabilia inevitably followed and more than any other idol♥ I just adore her so much!!..she has such an engaging personality and feisty~ness! that even a fangirl can go overboard much??! ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。！！...a portion of which is just below ↓↓↓

Yuachan's♥ personality embodies so much more than that of the *sexy* gravure idol (+extreme *cuteness~*!!!!) in her which sizzles on the surface~ and in winning 2009 Nitellegenic~!!! so much of her *adorable~* playfulness...her cutely♥rough aura at times and really what I find to be one of the most magnetic~* draws I think for her fans is her very outgoing..friendly demeanor as well as her slightly odd♥ sense of humor and timing~!
While a vast array of idol♥ cuteness~ and talent were entered for this year's Nitellegenic awards only five were chosen for top honors and as aforementioned, Yuachan♥ really shined~* so much in the competition throughout~ (*´∀｀*) even becoming one of the leads for Nitellegenic's debut idol♥ song♪～after being crowned！！！The Nitellegenic winners announcement made top headlines in Japan as well...being featured on the front page of their shinbun~!
Idol♥competition~...so many odd games and peculiar ideas being circled around...so odd at times that you really need to watch ne~…(^q^)! So many Yua♥ thingies to present here (*´∀｀*)....up next will be Yua♥ in "Bikini Idol Christmas~!" as well as "Idols vs. Tabasco" (・д・`*)...tanoshimi kudasai! ＼(^o^)／☆
If the new single/PV from C-ute is any indication, Suzuki Airi is taking over as the undeniable frontgirl of the group. She has always gotten a lionshare of the lines, with Maimi running a close second. But if you have seen Shock, then you know it was all about Airi. The rest of the 5nin unit primarily served as backups...
Sure, some people have a problem with this. Obviously the Airi fans are thrilled. With the departure of two C-ute members over the past year, Tsunku had to rethink the dynamic of this group. Two members (Airi and Maimi) are without a doubt the major players. But while Maimi is by far the hottest girl, Airi blows her away in the singing department.
Tsunku and Hello! Project have reached a crossroads. They have been paring down the talent pool all year. Sales aren't what they used to be by a longshot. Perhaps this is a continuation of the sweeping changes we have been seeing while UFA and H!P struggle to remain current and relevant. Featuring Airi as the lead singer really is showing off C-ute in their best light.
The only problem I can see is the rest of the girls (and their agents) having a problem with being forced into the "second rung". This could even lead to the departure of key members (Maimi) who may seek better situations elsewhere.
Let's face it, Maimi is about to turn 18. With this new haircut she seems to be embracing her impending adulthood. It makes me wonder if C-ute is in her long-term plans.
On the other hand, you may also wonder if Maimi in C-ute is part of Tsunku's long-term plan. That said, to me the Bondesque "Shock" is the best single C-ute has released since Forever Love. The song has an edge, it is well sung by Airi, and the girls look hawt hawt hawt. Forgetting Maimi for a minute, when did Airi start looking like she was 20 years old? For a second I thought I was watching Ayaka Komatsu...
Manoeri's 5th major single release was again presented in multiple versions~ with the extras being available with her type A & B CD singles~....both include an additional DVD with type A giving you "Dance Shot Ver." of the title track while type B includes her "Buranko Ver." pv~. Her accompanying pv DVD single includes in addition to the original version of her pv~, a "Close Up Ver."
"Love & Peace = Paradise" brings upon us a first for H!P as it's their very first to be kitten~ized as track 2 features much more in the way of ~meow~ meows in addition to Manoeri's already *furry~* vocals♥ (*´∀｀*)...now just who is Hello♥Kitty?..I mean vocally....??? (・c_・;)？Surely it's not Tsunku singing back~up here as he often does on select Momusu~ releases (。ーωー。)♪♪。。。
